The UK’s most innovative online crime reporting and process management software, used by police constabularies, crime reduction partnerships, local government agencies and national retailers, has confirmed a major presence for its cloud software services on the latest version of the G-Cloud Framework, G-Cloud 10.

In total, the SentrySIS software platform has six products available to purchase via the G-Cloud 10 online catalogue, the Digital Marketplace. SentrySIS is available under a SaaS based licence agreement within the cloud software section of the G-Cloud platform.

SentrySIS combines the latest digital technology with its understanding of the national Digital Policing agenda, to help form strategic partnerships with organisations such as The National Business Crime Solution, The North East Retail Crime Partnership and a number of police constabularies across the UK.

Since its full product launch in early 2017, Sentry Secure Intelligence System has secured a three-year partnership agreement with a Police constabulary in the North East of England.

The police constabulary (who cannot be named for legal reasons) has now implemented the SentrySIS platform as an integral back-bone software solution within its Digital Justice policing strategy by deploying the software across its entire police force area. This allows a range of stakeholders to communicate digitally with the Police more efficiently, improves data management, working practices, crime processes and digital asset management.

The G-Cloud 10 approval is a significant competitive advantage over direct competitors of SentrySIS operating within this space.

The latest product recently launched within the SentrySIS suite and available on G-Cloud 10 is the SentrySIS Remote Telephone Statement software. The solution, a police efficiency saving product, is hosted within Sentry Secure Intelligence System’s third party provider’s secure cloud environment, by UKFast who are also on G-Cloud 10 Framework.

The SentrySIS Media Provider software has proved invaluable for County Durham Council as it allows council staff from across the county to easily send large CCTV video files securely to the police via the SentrySIS platform. This has saved both the police and council staff time and increased efficiencies between both parties.

These particular products, along with all other SentrySIS solutions, have been developed specifically to meet the growing expectations of the public, local authority and increasing demand on UK police constabulary resources.

The SentrySIS suite delivers all the key functions needed for affective policing in a secure cloud environment and removes the need for expensive in-house infrastructure and resources required to host, manage and support an on-premise solution. It can therefore deliver significant increases in efficiency and support the public sector as it works towards transforming its services to a fully digital eco-system.

Innovation and versatility are key to Sentry Secure Intelligence System’s cloud-based products and services, and the company is a strong supporter of this key framework. The company predicts that changes made for G-Cloud 10 will encourage wider cloud adoption across the public sector, particularly in local policing, where take-up of cloud services and use of the recent G-Cloud 9 framework has fallen behind other areas of the wider public sector.

SentrySIS welcome the improvements that have been introduced to G-Cloud 10 and expect to see more police and crime focused customers embracing cloud technology as a result.

As an existing police provider, Sentry Secure Intelligence System welcomes the increased focus on data security within G-Cloud 10, as the issue of protecting sensitive personal data becomes ever-more important to its customers in light of the introduction of GDPR.

Commenting on the announcement, Co Founder and Director at Sentry Secure Intelligence System, Chris Nriapia said “Being the only supplier within the G-Cloud 10 Framework operating within this online crime reporting and process management space excites us greatly. This means we can successfully offer the right solution to our police and local government contacts with ease, speed and full confidence in meeting their current and future needs. It’s crucial for us to provide the SentrySIS platform at the start of their digital transformation journey in a flexible and agile manner.”
